Boggarts & Dementors

Boggarts:

Boggarts are creatures which turn into our biggest fears but we don’t know what they look like when they are not in front of their victim. When the victim imagines their worst fears and somethings that makes them laugh / an everyday object and says ‘Riddikulus’ the boggarts will get discombobulated and turn into a combination of the two items. For example:

·       Neville Longbottom:

Fear:    Professor Severus Snape

Laughter Object/ Object:   Grandmother’s clothes

Wizards and witches all over the world check their closets and cupboards every once a week to check if there are boggarts in their house as boggarts extremely despise open spaces and possibly even breed in enclosed spaces.

Dementors:

Dementors feed and breed by sucking the victim’s happiness and joy out of them and reveal their most feared and worst time of their life. The victim may even become mad if they spend too much time with dementors. Dementors guard the prison Azkaban and torture the prisoners till they taken the wrong-doers become too weaker maybe even  die. Dementors went to the Dark Lord’s side during the battle of Hogwarts. Whenever near a dementor one should think of their most happy times and chant the spell ‘Expecto Patronum’ until a shining white animal appears in front of the dementor and scares it off it is a valid Patronus. The words ‘Expecto Patronum’ means ‘I expect my guardian’. Known records show that:

·       Dementors appeared at Little Whinging town in front of Mr. Harry .J .Potter. Mr. Potter with his only living cousin  Mr. Dudley Dursley. A squib by the name Mrs. Figg came to his rescue and helped to his home. Mr. Potter recounts that he had to haul his cousin for a few miles and his cousin was five times his size. He had a hearing at the Ministry where he won the case without saying so much as a  word. The one who came to his rescue at this point was one of his most loved ones, Albus  Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, the winner of ‘Order Of The Merlin, 1st class.
