Dear Diary,

My name is Lily Evans and my sister’s name is Petunia. I call her Tuney for short. My favourite colour is turquoise and Tuney’s is green. I love dogs while Tuney despises them and loves cats. My birthday is on 30/January/1960 and Tuney’s is on 14/June/1956. Yes! Today is her birthday. It’s 7:30 am and she’s asleep so I thought I could write in my diary for some time. Don’t worry, she only wakes up at 8:00 on her birthday and I already set up her stuff. There are green banisters and a mint flavoured cake with a little statue of her on the top. Then, I cleaned the hall and arranged Tuney’s presents on a table. For breakfast, Mummy made Tuney’s favourite, chocolate chip pancakes arranged in a pile of four, drizzled with chocolate and a Mars Bar on the top. Mummy always makes them big so we can eat out of the same plate. With my allowance that I always save the whole year every year, I got Tuney a really pretty neon green lava lamp, a dark green chandelier and a bright green pencil holder. I hope she likes them! I’m going to end my entry here because Tuney’s waking up I want to surprise her! I’ll write later in the evening and tell you how her party went. Mummy and Daddy are taking us somewhere and they won’t tell us where. I’ll tell you later. Bye!
